Haider Abid


Haider Sahib Abid was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1973. He has a Masters in Biology from the University of Baghdad in 2001.
He has been living in Berlin, Germany, since summer 2011, where he expects to finish his PhD soon.
His mother along with 4 sisters and 4 brothers still live in Baghdad.
TRAIN TO PEACE is his first film project.

Jost Althoff


Having finished a course in Screen-printing and Geo-ecology at the Film University of Babelsberg, Jost has been animating since 2012 with a heavyweight in Children´s television. His films include Hinterland (2010), Ballast (2012) and Train to Peace (2016).

Jakob Weyde


Jakob was born in 1982 in the south of Germany. After entering and leaving several schools, in 2002 he fell in love with animation. In 2003 he moved to Berlin and in 2005 started studying animation at the film school in Potsdam. Since finishing studies in 2010 with graduation film Hinterland (animated short), he began working as a freelance animator and founded with two colleagues an animation studio called House of Creatures. His films include Hinterland (2010) and Train to Peace (2016).
